Mercy College School of Education Ranked on Multiple Best Online College Lists
Mercy College announced today it has been ranked on multiple 2019 Best Online College lists by SR Education Group. Mercy placed top 10 on the education research publisher’s lists for Master’s in Education, Elementary Education, ESL, Secondary Education and Special Education.
“We are incredibly honored for this recognition of our online graduate degree programs,” said Dr. José Herrera, Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs, Mercy College. “These distinctions suggest that our efforts to make higher education affordable and convenient to all learners, no matter what stage they are in life, are seeing success.”
SR Education Group’s Best Online College rankings are based primarily on salary potential and tuition rates. Reviewing accredited online schools across the nation, the publisher analyzes average mid-career salary data and annual tuition rates to determine the schools that offer the best value to their students.
“Inclusion in these rankings indicates Mercy’s high return on investment for students and the School of Education’s faithful commitment to affordability without sacrificing excellence,” said Dr. Rose Rudnitski, Dean of Mercy College’s School of Education. “As more people busy with work or taking care of family turn online for their tertiary education, it is imperative that schools offer degree programs in a variety of modalities that reflect the same academic rigor and deep levels of student engagement. We are delighted that these organizations recognized those attributes in our online offerings.”
