STEM Master Teacher Fellows
Preparing STEM Master Teacher Fellows in the Greater New York City Area
This intensive program of STEM pedagogy courses and professional experiences will prepare 14 in-service K-12 teachers of math and science to become quality STEM Teacher Leaders, with the goal of improving K-12 STEM instruction in four partner high-needs school districts through leadership projects.
These Fellows will be supported during a five-year period by scholarships, tuition waivers, and mentoring by faculty from the 麻豆社区 School of Education; the Center for STEM Education; and community partners: New York University鈥檚 Tandon School of Engineering and the Sarah Lawrence College Center for the Urban River at Beczak (CURB).

鈥淚 appreciate the pedagogical aspects that have been woven into the program that strengthen us as teachers not just as STEM, but also as teachers, because vertical teaming is something that you can do in any discipline.鈥
